What are the main methods to prevent metal rust of spring?

In addition to the anti-rust paint we know about springs, what other surface treatment methods are available to prevent rust? The following are some commonly used spring surface treatment methods:
1. Rust prevention: spray antirust oil directly, and the antirust effect is very poor. Neutral salt spray test shall be conducted for 2-8 hours depending on the quality of antirust oil.
2. Blackening, oxidation of spring surface, black surface, general antirust effect, neutral salt spray test for about 8 hours. 3. Nickel plating, nickel plating on spring surface, tin coating, white and bright appearance, neutral salt spray test for 12-48 hours.
4. Galvanizing: the galvanized layer on the spring surface is different from the ordinary and environmental protection. The ordinary main color is yellow with light color, and the neutral salt spray test is more than 48 hours. The main color of environmental protection is light blue with light color, and the neutral salt spray test lasts for about 72 hours. (There are also black zinc and some particularly bright colors)
5. Dacromet, with tiny metal sheet attached to the surface, gray color, neutral salt spray test for hundreds of hours.
